I explored Graph Search Live

Graph Search just rolled out today on my Facebook Accounts. I explored and was quite happy with the experience. Definitely a new one, within in a nice graphic environment and with intuitive auto-deducting engine that offers possibilities to filter and point.

Facebook like any Civilized Society won’t Tolerate Racism…


And so will all other respected and respectable Social Media and Networks

There has recently been that racist scandal quaking the Mauritian Facebook Networks. It  links a 20 yr-old girl to some highly racist commentaries towards a fasting community. And like for those who saw the content expressed in dirty Mauritian Creole, there was my first reaction :

She should be arrested, as per the country’s legal standing on libeling, defamation and propagating racism and hatred messages, without regards if that was done online or not. It should go the same way, too, for the persons responsible, the owner/ creator of the Facebook Group or Page, who allowed such commentaries to be issued from their source.

Month 3, 2012… Social Media delivers its first surprises !

February 29th, I received that alarming kind of email from network watchers Lujure reminding me of imminent changes in Facebook’s Fan Page Layouts. I was warned months back especially by Mari Smith  who during a seminar announced Facebook Fanpages switching to the more intuitive Timeline layout. And Mari Smith’s predictions were right :

… the old tactics you were using last year or two years or three years ago in social media are not really going to work in the social era.
